Cancun, Q.R. — A man was rushed to hospital and his passenger pronounced on scene after a rollover in Cancun. The accident took place on Bonampak Avenue behind the city’s busy Plaza Las Américas.
Reports say the compact car ended up on its roof after being hit by a pickup truck. The truck was advancing toward Colosio Boulevard when it hit the car. The compact vehicle was overturned, landing on its roof.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene of the Christmas Eve accident where the male driver was transferred to hospital. His passenger, however, was pronounced by medical personnel. Neither have been identified.
