Cancun, Q.R. — A woman was killed Thursday morning after being hit by a Cancun combi. Numerous city residents witnessed the 8:00 a.m. accident in SM 103.
The unidentified woman was hit by the unit while crossing the street near José López Portillo Avenue. Her body was left laying on the street under the driver’s side of the combi until police arrived.
Miguel “N”, the driver of the public unit, was arrested from the scene. Witnesses detailed to authorities that the woman was hit then dragged for several meters before the van stopped.
