Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A group of Walmart workers from the central Playa del Carmen store walked out on Saturday. The unionized group of workers, who belong to CROC, walked out Saturday morning in protest of mistreatment and lack of payment.
Julio Ávila, special trade commissioner of Quintana Roo CROC, said that talks were in the works between the company and its workers in an attempt to resolve the labor dispute.
