Cancun, Q.R. — The Ukrainian Consulate in Mexico has expressed its gratitude for the support of its citizens in the state of Quintana Roo. In a letter addressed to the Riviera Maya Hotel Association, the Consulate highlighted that this is a time when the world is facing great challenges.
They said it is admirable to see that there are human beings and organizations out there with big hearts, adding that “through these lines, we want to acknowledge the humanitarian aid provided to our Ukrainian nationals through your selfless actions just for doing the common good,” says the letter signed by Manuel Hérbeles Rascón, Honorary Vice Consul of Ukraine in Mexico.
“Mexico is a country of friends, of noble, hard-working people and that is why, on behalf of the Embassy of Ukraine in Mexico, represented by Her Excellency Oksana Dramaretska and her Honorary Consul Peter Foyo, we express our recognition of their invaluable work for selflessly supporting us in these difficult times,” he added.
On Friday, for the second time, a Mexico Air Force plane left Mexico City bound for Romania. While the mission is to repatriate Mexicans fleeing the Ukraine war, the plane left Mexico loaded with humanitarian aid.
