Cancun, Q.R. — As part of Operation Blindaje Cancun, two men allegedly involved in kidnapping and drug-related offenses were arrested. The arrests were made by the Municipal Secretariat of Citizen Security and Transit (SMSCyT) officers in coordination with National Guard and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).
Responding to a report, security personnel were dispatched to the Valle Verde neighborhood where they observed two individuals matching the provided descriptions.
Both men reportadly attempted to flee on a motorcycle upon noticing police. At the address, “cries for help were heard coming from inside the property,” police said.

Officers rescued a man who was found with his hands bound and lying face down. The victim was assessed at the scene by paramedics who determined he did not require transport to a hospital.
During a security inspection of the alleged perpetrators, authorities seized bags of varoious narcotics as well as “a yellow rope, a semi-automatic pistol and a white and black Italika Cross motorcycle without license plates.”
From the scene of the alleged kidnapping, officers arrested 22 year old Antonio Isaí “N”, 22 years old and 18 year old Jesús Enrique “N”.
