Cancun, Q.R. — Two youths suspected of committing assaults on pedestrians and businesses were arrested in the Vista Real subdivision of Cancun Sunday. When taken into police custody, the pair were found armed with knives and riding a motorcycle with a theft report.
The two men were stopped after Cancun police saw them speeding along Monte Págalo Avenue. A review of their person revealed the knives. A review of the motorcycle they were riding revealed it was reported as stolen.
Alexis N and Guadalupe N were handcuffed and transferred to police facilities where they are being investigated for other criminal acts in that area of the city that include robbery of both pedestrians and small businesses.
