Cancun, Q.R. — Elements of the Quintana Roo Police have arrested a pair from Veracruz found carrying a large amount of drugs.
Quintana Roo police report the arrest of 21-year-old Alexis N and 23-year-old Carlos N in SM 107 of Cancun. The pair, who are from Veracruz, were taken into custody on Córdoba Avenue when officers notice two male persons begin to act elusively at their presence.
The men were in possession of a blue backpack. Police stopped them and inspected them and the backpack, which is where they discovered 58 street bags of marijuana.
