Cancun, Q.R. — Two people shot in Cancun Sunday were part of a land dispute. The two men were shot outside their home in SM 203 after, according to reports, they won an ongoing land dispute.
The shooting happened around 9:00 a.m. Sunday in the Cuna Maya region of the city. Men on a motorcycle arrived and opened fire against both men who were outside on a street. Emergency 911 sent police and paramedics to the scene from where the men were transferred to hospital.
Suspects in the shooting have not been announced. Cancun police continue to investigate.
