Cancun, Q.R. — Two men on a motorcycle were killed Thursday after the driver slammed into the side of a truck. The bike, which was traveling along Kukulkan Boulevard, hit the side of the cargo truck as it was turning into the parking lot of a restaurant.
Police and forensic personnel were at the 9:00 a.m. accident scene at Kilometer 13.5 of the Cancun Hotel Zone where they located both bodies on the pavement. The two men were found laying face down after being thrown from the bike.
The driver of the company truck was not reported injured, however, he was taken into police custody.
