Cancun, Q.R. — A motorcyclist with a passenger who was traveling on Kusamil Avenue collided with a barrier that caused him to then hit a police patrol. The accident was reported to have occurred around noon Thursday after the driver of the motorcycle attempted to avoid a car after traveling up a one-way street.
While trying to avoid the oncoming car, the motorcycle driver ended up hitting a concrete barrier, which sent him into an oncoming police patrol truck. Both the motorcycle driver and passenger were injured.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and treated the driver, Polo A., as well as his passenger, José B. Traffic police also arrived to start an investigation.
