Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun combi driver who failed to keep distance between him and the vehicle in front resulted in a smashed-in hood and two injuries. According to the traffic report, the 40-year-old TTE combi driver hit the back of another vehicle after failing to keep a safe distance.
The accident happened early Friday morning along Leona Vicario Avenues in Region 218 of Cancun. Police detailed that the person responsible, combi driver Martin N from Tabasco, did not keep a safe distance and hit the back of a truck, which was coming to a stop at an intersection traffic light.
From the impact, the truck was projected about five meters from which an elderly woman suffered cervical injuries. One man inside the combi was also injured. Both were transferred to private hospital by ambulance.
