Cancun, Q.R. — Two people were found deceased inside a vehicle in the residential area of Pok Ta Pok in the Cancun Hotel Zone Saturday.
The deaths were reported by neighbors who found the pair inside the vehicle without vital signs. According to a communiqué issued by the FGE, their first investigations report a quarrel in a private home as being the likely reason for the deaths.
They say the two people inside the van were found stabbed to death Saturday morning. Personnel assigned to the homicide unit, along with the public ministry, arrived at the scene to carry out interviews.
They say according to neighbors, there was a private party inside a home of which the two now-deceased attended. Experts from various specialties processed the area and gathered evidence. The FGE says additional evidence is still being integrated into the investigation to clarify facts.
