Cancun, Q.R. — Law enforcement in the city of Cancun were on scene in a green area where they located two dead bodies. The discovery of the bodies was made known to city authorities Sunday morning by a passerby.
The area resident stumbled upon the two dead bodies shortly after 11:00 a.m. Sunday in a weedy area along a road that was off a main highway.
Agents of the Specialized Homicide Police responded to the 911 report. They were met at the scene by personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office. Authorities have not said if the bodies were male or female, nor have they provided any details surrounding the discovery.
