Cancun, Q.R. — The Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo reports that two Cancun taxi drivers have been found connected to the disappearance of the two students from Palazza nightclub earlier this month.
In a hearing yesterday, the Public Prosecutor’s Office was successful in connecting the two taxi drivers, who have been identified as Miguel N and Aureo N, for their involvement in the abduction of the two Nuevo León students from the Cancun nightclub July 11. They have been charged with assisting in the kidnappings.
On Friday, four others who have been in custody for their alleged involvement of the two abductions, will be presented before a judge.
Police continue to comb the lagoon area of the Cancun Hotel Zone for any signs of the remaining missing student.
