Cancun, Q.R. — Two municipal traffic units of Benito Juárez were involved in a road accident on Avenida 20 de Noviembre in region 207 in Cancun. According to the traffic report, the accident happened around 11:00 a.m. during a pursuit.
Reports say the two police units collided due to lack of distance between them during the chase. Three of the five officers aboard the units were left with injuries. Paramedics attended the scene and transferred the injured to the IMSS. The injured officers are José Luis KC, Angélica María FK and Eduardo MC.
Both units were eventually towed to the public security yard.
