Cancun, Q.R. — Nicky Manansés “N”, Jennifer Guadalupe “N” and Robert Manuel “N” were picked up in Cancun Wednesday on outstanding arrest warrants. All three were wanted in the March 3 kidnapping of a city resident.
The State Attorney General stated that “these people are accused of events that occurred between March 3 and 4 of this year, when the victim, a motorcycle taxi operator by trade, was approached for a service by Nicky Manansés “N” and Robert Manuel “N”.”
They requested a mototaxi ride to an address, however along the way, they tried to recruit him to sell drugs. When he refused, they took him to an apartment where he remained against his will for two days. Inside the apartment was Jennifer Guadalupe “N”.
“The victim remained deprived of his liberty in that place before he managed to escape and report these events to the authorities,” the statement read.
An investigation lead police to the three now-detained, who will face charges of kidnapping.
