Cancun, Q. R. — Three people were able to walk away from an accident that left their Cancun car totaled. The male driver and two female passengers were traveling along Kabah Avenue early Wednesday when the driver clipped a median and overturned the car.
The vehicle reportedly rolled at least once before coming to a stop on the boundary of a gas station property in SM 248. Witnesses to the city crash called emergency services for assistance assuming those inside were injured.
Responding paramedics found all three with only minor injuries. They were treated at the scene. Police also responded to the 9-1-1 reports of the intersection accident. Transit officers are using city surveillance cameras to determine responsibility since some city property was damaged during the accident.
