Cancun, Q.R. — A road accident between an combi van, a bus and a private car left 10 injured in Cancun Thursday.
According to police reports, the incident occurred Thursday morning when someone called Emergency 911 and alerted authorities. Police arrived at Villas Otoch Paraíso in Region 259 and found the three vehicles had collided and that several people were injured.
Rescue efforts were made to remove a few trapped people from the crumbled metal. Of the 10 reported injured, only three were taken to hospital.
According to testimonies of the passengers, the driver of the Maya Caribe combi failed to respect the right of way and caused the collision between the three vehicles.
