Cancun, Q.R. — The driver of a compact car was taken into custody Thursday in an accident that left three injured. The three vehicle crash happened in the Paraíso Maya subdivision when the driver of the car hit two motorcycles as she entered the main road from a side street.
The woman tried to take over all four lanes in oncoming traffic, cutting off two motorcycles in the process. A car traveling directly behind the motorcycles captured the accident on camera.
The driver of the car pulled out of the side street aiming for the far turning left lane when two motorcycles traveling in the center and right lanes were cut off. Three people on the two motorcycles were thrown onto the pavement.

Witnesses from across the street along with passing motorists stopped to help the injured and hold the woman at the scene until police and paramedics arrived. All three motorcyclists were transferred to Cancun hospital. Transit officers arrested the woman from the scene of the accident before towing her car.
