Cancun, Q.R. — A collision between a combi and private vehicle in Cancun left three people injured Thursday. Police and ambulances responded to the emergency call for assistance in the two-car crash along Huayacán Avenue.

Preliminary reports say the accident was due to a careless maneuver by the combi driver, 55-year-old Felix N. Careless driving resulted in his vehicle being hit by the driver of a Yaris. The driver, 23-year-old Rafael N, was listed as one of the injured.

His car sustained substantial damage in the collision. He and two passengers from the public Cancun combi were taken to hospital and listed in serious condition.
