Cancun, Q.R. — Quintana Roo health authorities reported the recovery of the first three coronavirus patients in Quintana Roo. Dr. Alejandra Aguirre Crespo, head of State Health, revealed that the recovered patients include two women from the municipality of Solidaridad and one man from the municipality of Benito Juárez (Cancun).
She added that the recovered patients were 21, 22 and 51 years of age and were in complete isolation during their recovery.
“Fortunately we have progress in the midst of this epidemic, so it is important to maintain hygiene and isolation measures from now on,” she added. The three, she said, were detected and diagnosed in a timely manner and ordered to remain isolated in their homes during recovery.
Positive cases for SARS-CoV-2 have risen again for the state of Quintana Roo with 13 new cases being reported over the last 48 hours. The new cases have been detected in the municipalities of Benito Juárez, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel and Solidaridad.
