Cancun, Q.R. — Roadway chaos was reported along Luis Donaldo Colosio Avenue late Thursday after a three-car crash left one on its roof. The SM 57 collisions had police scrambling to attend to the nighttime accident that saw three transferred to hospital.
The driver of a black truck that managed to roll, caused a chain reaction of colliding that involved two cars. The three crumple vehicles were attended to by Cancun Transit Police.
Traffic along the city’s busy artery was backed up with the metal mess blocking the way of other motorists.
Paramedics assessed and treated three injured people at the 11:00 p.m. accident scene who were ultimately transferred to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Excessive speed has been blamed for the rollover of the truck.
