Three arrested for kidnapping and murder of man from Cancun construction site

Cancun, Q.R. — Three men have been arrested for the murder of a man from a Cancun construction site. According to the Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo, police have captured Inri C, Carlos C and Jaime S for the crime of qualified homicide of an unidentified male person.

According to investigations, the defendants deprived the victim of his freedom from a construction site where he worked, later causing injuries that lead to his death. The FGE reports on October 17, a passerby reported the discovery of human remains on Chichén Itzá Avenue in SM 64.

Homicide Investigators arrived, accompanied by experts from different specialties, who collected evidence. The request for arrest warrants was made and granted by a Cancun judge.

The FGE says the three men were detained on public roads at different times in the municipality of Benito Juárez and charged with the crime of qualified homicide.
