Tabasco driver found sandwiched between two semis by Cancun rescue team

Cancun, Q.R. — Emergency services from Cancun were called to the scene of a three vehicle accident late Monday night. It was around midnight when Cancun firemen were requested to assist in the removal of the driver of a car that had become sandwiched between two semis.

The three vehicles were found locked together on the Cancun-Merida bypass near Huayacán Avenue in Cancun after a failed pass attempt by the driver of the car.

Daniel “D” from Tabasco was trying to pass one of the semis when he ran out of time and became lodged when a second semi appeared in the opposite lane. The private car was located partially under the trailer of both semis.

The Tabasco driver was treated by paramedics at the scene and released with only minor abrasions. Speed and careless driving are being factored into the late night Cancun highway accident.
