Cancun, Q.R. — Two suspects believed involved in an October Cancun murder have been charged. Both Leónides “N” and Alfredo “N” will stand trial for the October 31, 2023 shooting death of a Cancun man.
“The defendants were identified as Leónides “N” and Alfredo “N”, whom they arrested in collaboration with the Secretariat of Citizen Security on October 31 of this year, minutes after they allegedly injured a man with a firearm projectile,” the State Attorney reported in a statement.
“The events attributed to them occurred on Franciscos I. Madero Avenue (Route 4), near Supermanzana 66 in Cancun from where the victim, still alive, was transferred to the Jesús Kumate Rodríguez General Hospital where he died shortly after,” the agency added.
Both men are being charged with qualified homicide.
