Cancun, Q.R. — Joan “B”, who was wanted in the state of Hidalgo for double attempted murder, has been captured in Cancun. On Thursday, the State Attorney General’s Office reported on the arrest after a collaborated effort between the two states.
Joan “B” was wanted by authorities in the state of Hidalgo for the attempted femicide of two women who have not been identified. Details surrounding the murder attempts were not provided.
According to the State Attorney General of Quintana Roo, Joan “B” was arrested in the city of Cancun on February 28. He reportedly fled to Cancun in an attempt to elude justice, however, joint efforts between Hidalgo and Quintana Roo authorities lead to his arrest after a request was made by the Attorney General of the State of Hidalgo.
