Suspect in triple homicide that left three dead inside Cancun bar charged

Cancun, Q.R. — A suspect in a shooting that left three men dead inside a Cancun bar has been charged with three counts of aggravated homicide. Police say Marco Antonio “N” has been charged with the fatal March 11, 2026 shootings.

Police confirmed Saturday that he has been officially charged with “the crimes of aggravated homicide.”

According to a police statement, Marco Antonio “N”, alias “Marquitos”, is accused of aggravated homicide against three male persons for events that occurred on March 11 of this year in a bar located in Supermanzana 510.

“According to initial investigations, Marco Antonio “N” went to the bar with an accomplice. He then noticed that one of the victims was carrying a bag containing suspected narcotics and firearms which led to an altercation in the restroom area.

“Upon leaving the restroom, the argument continued and escalated into a confrontation that resulted in the deaths of three people,” police reported.

In their statement, police said this is the second time the suspect has been formally charged; the first time was for possession and distrubution of marijuana.
