SSP reports trio jailed for manufacturing importing and stockpiling prohibited weapons

Cancun, Q.R. — Three men have been jailed for their part in manufacturing, importing and stockpiling prohibited weapons. According to the Secretaría Estatal de Seguridad Pública (SSP of Quintana Roo), Felipe “N”, Carlos “N” and José “N” were arrested after they were linked to the report of an armed robbery.

Their arrests were made after police used the city’s C5 surveillance system to locate a vehicle described in the home robbery. According to the SSP, the three men were arrested “for their probable participation in the crime of carrying, manufacturing, importing and stockpiling prohibited weapons in Avante de Benito Juarez. It was verified via C5 that the vehicle had a report linked to the armed robbery of a house.”

The subjects are accused of the crime of carrying, manufacturing, importing and storing prohibited weapons. Their red Eco Sport SUV was seized during their arrests.
