Cancun, Q.R. — A transport van was demolished after a single vehicle accident in the Cancun Hotel Zone. Other drivers who saw the out-of-control van crash Tuesday morning made the report to emergency services.
Police located the badly damaged vehicle at kilometer 28 of Kukulcán Boulevard shortly after the 7:00 a.m. reports began to pour in.
The driver of the unit was traveling in the area of the Cancun International Airport when he left the roadway and rolled down a small embankment. The driver was not seriously injured. Speed and wet roads are being factored into the single vehicle accident.
