Cancun, Q.R. — Six people from inside a private car that flipped in the Cancun Hotel Zone were found unharmed. The driver of the car lost control on the wet pavement and overturned on a section of Kukulkán Boulevard Wednesday.
Wet pavement and heavy rain combined with excessive speed has been the said reason for the single vehicle accident. The driver was heading toward the city center when he overturned.
His car was found laying on the driver’s side. All six were able to climb out the passenger side doors.
Emergency responders found the car in greenery in the opposite lane. Motorists passing through the area stopped to help those inside the car before the arrival of police and paramedics.
The car was eventually towed from the roadway. The six inside were treated for minor abrasions.
