Cancun, Q.R. — Two people were injured Saturday after crashing their compact car into a CFE post. The driver of the car was allegedly speeding on the city’s wet streets when the accident occurred.
Both men from inside the compact Nissan were taken to hospital early Saturday morning with injuries. Both are reported to be active members of the Mexican army.
The crash, which left the front of the car totaled, happened on Colosio Boulevard around 5:30 a.m. Transit Officers arrived to deal with the accident scene as well as direct traffic while CFE personnel made the necessary repairs.
