Cancun, Q.R. — The City of Cancun says their road projects are on schedule after a report by the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT).

In addition, the construction of the airport junction is just over 15 percent advanced. The SICT says they are working on the excavation for the foundation of the central support of the new structure.

Construction of the Nichupté Vehicular Bridge over the lagoon to connect the Cancun Hotel Zone with the mainland is also a current project the SICT says is only six percent advanced. The agency says they are currently carrying out the first stages of work at the intersection of Av. Kabah with Tulum and Bonampak.
