Cancun, Q.R. — A semi overturned on its side Thursday afternoon after the driver attempted to unload several tons of gravel. The incident happened at a building that is under construction along 135th Avenue in SM 516.
The driver of the unit tipped his semi just after entering a piece of land to unload. Due to the recent heavy rains, the ground had softened, being a factor in the truck falling on its side. The load of gravel was removed from the unit.
A large tow truck was called to upright the semi. There were no injuries reported.
