Search Commission asking for help to find family of American woman hospitalized in Cancun

Cancun, Q.R. — Authorities in Cancun are asking for the public’s help in finding the family of an elderly American woman. The woman is hospitalized in Cancun and police are in search of relatives.

According to the Quintana Roo State Commission for the Search for Missing Persons, the woman is 72 year old Karen Lee Sperry. She was admitted  to the Jesús Kumate Rodriguez General Hospital of Cancun November 26.

She remains in hospital. Authorities have not provided the reason for her hospitalization, however, they are in search of her family.

In the November 27 bulletin, the Comisión de Búsqueda Quintana Roo (Quintana Roo Search Commission) requested public assistance.
