Cancun, Q. R. — A young male has been arrested from a residential suburb of Cancun after police received reports of gunfire. Several residents in SM 237 made the reports to emergency 911 who responded by sending police.
Patrolling officers in search of the man located him walking down a residential street. Stuffed in the back wasit of his pants was a handgun. Police reported that 24-year-old Carlos “N” was arrested when he was found carrying the illegal weapon.
During his arrest, officers located a .380 caliber firearm with one magazine and five cartridges. They did not say why he was firing the weapon.
