Remains of three found in recent missing persons search

Cancun, Q.R. — Authorities found the remains of three bodies Wednesday in a makeshift grave in Cancun. The remains were located during a missing persons search operation in SM 247.

The Wednesday area search was organized after nearby residents found human bones days earlier. During the Cancun search, human remains corresponding to three people were confirmed.

Their remains were found by agents and cadaver dogs from the State Attorney General’s Office. Bones were located poorly buried in a green area of the Aloja subdivision.

Authorities have only identified one of the deceased as a 20 year old male who was reported missing March 14 of this year. The other two people have not yet been identified.
