Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun police responding to the report of a body laying on a highway arrived to a grisly scene. On Saturday night, several reports were made to Emergency 911 by motorists who reported the body of a man on the highway.
The unidentified male had been hit by a vehicle and left. The initial reports were made around 1:30 a.m., however, by the time police arrived, the body had been run over additional times.
Police found the remains of the man laying on the shoulder of the highway about half way between Cancun and Puerto Morelos. The Medical Examiner was called to remove the remains of the body for identification.
