Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun firemen were unable to save a private boat that was reported on fire Thursday. The boat was found completely engulfed in flames inside the Puerto Cancun marina.
Residents of Residencial Laguna Uno made the emergency report of the fire around 5:00 a.m. Both city firemen and personnel from Civil Protection responded. Police were also sent to gather a statement from the boat’s owner.
The private vessel was a write off. No injuries were reported. Authorities did not provide a cause for the fire.
