Cancun, Q.R. — Elements of the Cancun Fire Department rushed to the scene of a 5:20 a.m. fire Tuesday located inside a bar. Flames were reported to Emergency 911 who sent responders to the Kabah Avenue location.
When they arrived, firemen found the inside of Micheladas del Tío Toño in flames. According to preliminary information, two men were seen entering the bar where they poured gas before lighting it.
Firemen were successful in extinguishing the fire, but not before it consumed a majority of the bar’s inside contents.
Elements of the Quintana Roo Police and Civil Protection arrived to placed closure seals on the bar.
