Cancun, Q.R. — An establishment involved in a kidnapping and subsequent execution of a man Saturday night has been seized by authorities. On Sunday, the State Attorney General’s Office secured the bar, Barezzito.
The bar was secured after a group of men entered the establishment and forcefully removed one male who was later found shot to death. The bar’s security cameras caught the 10:00 p.m. incident when a group of eight men arrived, singling out one man.
The unidentified man was forcefully removed from the bar at gunpoint. His body was found Sunday morning on Bonampak Avenue. He had been shot twice.
On social media, the State Attorney General’s Office reported that “it secured a commercial establishment where some subjects deprived a male of liberty. Agents of the #PDI [Investigative Police] are already carrying out investigative acts to clarify the facts.”
