Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun responded to the report of a headless body found inside a residential home. Authorities received the 9-1-1 call around 6:30 p.m. Thursday regarding a home in Privada Chacmol.
According to the report, a family member went to house 93 of Privada Chacmol where they found the decapitated body. Several police units arrived to confirm the report.
Inside the home on Pay 1 Street, police located a body that had been decapitated. Police were on scene for several hours processing the home.
According to available information, the deceased is a male of around 30 years of age. Authorities have not provided information surrounding the death.
There are reports that the body is believed to have been left in that state for several days before being found.
