Cancun, Q.R. — A man who held up a Cancun bank in November has been captured. On Saturday, police took Valentín de Jesús “N” into custody on an outstanding warrant after holding up a bank in SM 201 last week.
Valentín de Jesús “N” is accused of posing as a bank client on November 22 while, after standing in line, he approached a teller under the pretense of making deposit. However, when the teller asked for the deposit, the man reached into his pocket and pulled out a gun instead.
After demanding the teller’s cash, the man fled the Avenida Niños Héroes bank location. Valentín de Jesús “N” was captured on surveillance video and eventually identified, which lead to a warrant being issued for his arrest.
