Police make third arrest in murder of Cancun man

Cancun, Q.R. — Police have captured a third person believed involved in the shooting death of a Cancun man. Rajem Gandhi “N” is facing homicide and attempted homicide charges for the March 6 attacks.

According to Cancun police, Rajem Gandhi “N” is connected to their investigation of the March 6 shooting outside a residence. The shooting happened in the informal settlement of La Jungla.

“At that location, he allegedly attacked a man with a firearm who died, and also injured another individual,” police said.

Rajem Gandhi “N” was arrested over the weekend along with a second person police have identified as Jonathan “N”.

Both men were arrested in SM 201 with marijuana, crystal meth and “fragments of cardboard with characteristics of the drug LSD.”

Police reported that two others have already been formally charged in the March 6 murder. Miguel “N” alias “Güero” and Wilber Alberto “N”.

According to initial investigations, Rajem Gandhi “N” is a suspected member of a criminal group dedicated to the sale and distribution of narcotics.
