Cancun, Q.R. — Ministerial authorities continue to investigate a targeted Cancun shooting that took place Friday morning. The drive-by shooting happened along Contoy Avenue in SM 19 against a private home.
Police were sent to the scene Friday morning where they located two vehicles, a black truck and a Mini Cooper car with numerous bullet holes. On scene, they also located three injured people.
One of the men at the scene has been identified as Madrián N who works as a private security guard at the home. The second man has been identified as Adrián David S.A. He was treated at the Galenia hospital for chest injuries. The third person has not been identified, but was said to be a woman.
At the scene, police collected 33 shell casings. Four men are believed to have taken part in the attack. Police continue to investigate.
