Cancun, Q.R. — Elements of the Quintana Roo Police report the detainment of a male subject who was reported for robbing a convenience store in Cancun.
The robbery happened around 2:00 p.m. Monday in Region 99 of the city when they received a complaint from the employee of a store who said two men entered, intimidating employees and asking for the cash from the register.
The pair left with a handful of cash and a single bottle of liquor. Police responded to the robbery, however, upon their arrival, both men attempted to flee. Only one was caught. Municipal police say they arrested 25-year-old Sergio N from Campeche.
