Cancun, Q.R. — Two men have been captured by Cancun police for the murder of a person that occurred in February. The Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office reports the arrest of both Alfonso M and Felipe A for homicide.
The victim has not been identified beyond the initials of E.C.C., however, police say their detainment was the result of an arrest warrant issued by a Cancun judge after homicide police were successful in implicating both men in the murder.
The FGE says the murder of E.C.C. took place on February 15 of this year, when the body was discovered in SM 76 of Cancun. Both men are being held and will remain in preventative detention during their trial.
