Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun are continuing with their investigation after a woman was found dead inside a hotel. The unnamed female was located inside a Cancun hotel room Monday afternoon.
The body was reportedly found hanging inside the room. An autopsy will reveal the official cause of death.
Authorities have not provided details on the death or on the woman found inside the room. It is also not known if she was found by a travel companion or hotel staff or if she was a national or foreign tourist.
The scene was cordoned off while police collected evidence and began their investigation.
