Cancun, Q.R. — A taxi driver and his companion were detained by Ministerial elements of the State Attorney General’s Office in the Las Palmas subdivision of Cancun for their alleged participation in several city robberies.
Police arrested the pair in Region 259 while aboard a taxi. The detainees, Luis Alberto H.D. and Alfonso T.M., the latter being the taxi driver, are believed related to several robberies including that of a business along Avenida José López Portillo where one person was left with a bullet wound in his leg.
Police have the pair in custody.
