Cancun, Q.R. — Two subjects who robbed a business in Region 233 of Cancun were detained by police officers after fleeing in a taxi.
Patrolling police just happened by the Region 233 area where citizens stopped the police unit and explained the robbery and the pair fleeing in a taxi. Witnesses were able to provide a taxi number, which sent police on a search.
Quintana Roo Police quickly located the taxi, arresting its occupants learning that, while one waited in the taxi, the other got out and entered the business on Niños Héroes Avenue, where he robbed the store and threatened employees with a machete.
