Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Six males have been taken into custody for their alleged involvement in CJNG riot fires. All six are being investigated for their part in the fires that were set around Playa del Carmen Sunday.
The State Attorney General (FGE) reported Thursday that police from the Interinstitutional Group arrested six male individuals for drug dealing.
However, they are “also allegedly involved in the burning of seven vehicles, registered on February 22 of this year, in Playa del Carmen.”
The detainees are identified as Miguel Ángel “N”, alias “El Negro”, Jorge Luis “N”, alias “Wacho”, Walter Andrés “N”, Rodrigo Yahir “N”, alias “Manitas”, Ricardo “N”, alias “Gato” and Camilo “N”, alias “Chino”.
“The suspects were found in possession of two 0.9 mm caliber firearms as well as two motorcycles and different quantities of suspected narcotics,” police said.

The FGE reported that the number of detainees in Playa del Carmen for the Sunday cartel violence has risen to seven.
